Masala Lounge & Grill in Okotoks, Alberta, is seeking a Kitchen Helper to join their team. This full-time, permanent position offers various shifts including day, evening, night, morning, weekend, and flexible hours, with overtime available.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of kitchen and dining area tasks. This includes operating dishwashers, washing dishes by hand, and placing them in storage. You will also clear and clean tables, set serving areas, and handle take-out packaging and food portioning. Other duties involve preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, serving customers, stocking refrigerators, and taking customer orders. Maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, handling cleaning products, receiving and storing supplies, and managing kitchen waste are also part of the role. Additionally, tasks like sharpening knives and sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors are required.
Requirements and Skills
