Responsibilities
The Business Coordinator will be responsible for implementing, reviewing, and evaluating new administrative procedures. This includes delegating work to office support staff, establishing work priorities, and ensuring all procedures are followed and deadlines are met effectively.
Key duties involve administering policies and procedures related to the release of records, specifically in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation. The role also requires co-ordinating and planning for various office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
Further responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of operating budgets and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls. The successful candidate will oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures, resolve conflict situations, and commission systems and components. Planning and controlling the budget and expenditures are also essential aspects of this position.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience. A minimum of three years to less than five years of relevant experience is required for this position.
